How to use the Time Allocation Calculator
Quick guide
- Fill in your year settings (workdays, vacation days, public holidays).
- Add your jobs and work schedule details.
- Enter chores + personal time estimates (weekday/weekend/vacation).
- Click Calculate and review the Year and Lifetime overviews.
- Use “Share my values” to generate a link you can bookmark or send to someone.
Common pitfalls
- If any day type totals exceed 24h, reduce inputs until the “Per-day totals” look realistic (check "Yearly calculation details" section; per week and per month chores are considered as weekend chores).
- Be consistent about what you classify as Work vs Chores vs Personal—otherwise comparisons won’t be meaningful.
